JANTECH COMPUTERS (“JANTECH COMPUTERS") as seller of computers and peripherals, computer games and entertainment products provides goods and services, warranties according to the conditions as outlined below. In these Terms and Conditions, Seller means the Company- Jantech Computers. The buyer means Customer whose order for the purchase of Goods is accepted by Seller.

ORDERING

Customer may order the products and services from Jantech Computers by completing and submitting the order form on our website. In placing an order, Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

How to buy:

• Place your order on our website;
• Print or save your receipt order for your records;
• You will receive an automated confirmation email from Jantech Computers. Please do not reply, it is an automated  response to your order;
• Customer service representative will contact you to confirm your order, preferred method of payment and shipping costs, alternatively you will receive an invoice via email or fax.
• Please make a payment according to the amount quoted in the invoice. The goods ordered from Jantech Computers must be prepaid and funds are cleared before we despatch the products.

Systems and upgrades must have a 20% (non-refundable) deposit.  Please check products for availability. Ownership of products will only be transferred to the customer when all monies owed to Jantech Computers have been paid in full.

Alternatively, please fax or email your order. Please include your contact details, including products you would like to order. Please also advise preferred payment method.

PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices are GST inclusive . Prices are freight cost exclusive. Errors or omissions are acceptable.
Photographs and graphics are used for representational purposes only and may not be the exact product or configuration as described.

WARRANTY

All products sold by Jantech Computers are covered by standard manufacturer warranty. Goods under warranty cover will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturers. No refund can be provided under any circumstances. Warranty will not be covered if any products are physically damaged. Warranty does not include software issues or loss of data.

The testing charge of $25 may incur for any parts returned for warranty if not found faulty

Jantech Computers will not be responsible for any failure that may occur to those products due to incorrect installation, or by not following manufacturer’s instruction. We strongly recommend a qualified technician should install any hardware purchased from Jantech Computers.

LCD screens are allowed some ‘damaged ‘ pixels in the display before being classified as faulty (as directed by manufacturers).

Jantech Computers does not handle warranty claims for those goods where manufacturer accepts direct warranty claims from customers. Clearance items may have limited warranty period.

Customer is responsible for all the shipping charges and insurance cost related with refund of defective merchandise. A similar product shall replace products discontinued by manufacturers) or a credit will be given at the current market value or the purchase prices whichever is lower.

Opening the system case will void the warranty of system or upgrade purchases.

REFUND POLICY:

No refunds will be provided, unless specified by Fair Trading Legislation. Refunds must be claimed within 7 days from the date of purchase. All products refunded must be in original condition including packaging, manuals and software. Any products returned may incur up to a 20 % restocking fee. All cost incurred in returning the product to Jantech Computers for repair, replacement or credit are the customer’s responsibility.

• Customer must notify us and obtain RA (return authorisation) before any products are returned.
• A copy of original invoice must be sent with the goods.
• An RA doesn’t guarantee credit, repair or replacement. It is just an authorisation to return products to us.
• We will not accept non-faulty opened software for return, under any circumstances.
• Please check the specifications and compatibility of the products being ordered to ensure they are what you want as we do not sell goods on a trial basis.
• Customers are welcome to get advice from us on the compatibility or suitability of the equipment being purchased.

Jantech Computers cannot guarantee that it will work in your system and we take no responsibility that it will meet your criteria.

• We do not refund or credit for incorrect purchase.
• No credit is available for any freight paid.
• RA is valid for 7 days only.
• If you receive a product that appears to have been ‘Damaged in transit”, that is damaged in transit from Jantech Computers to you, you should refuse to accept delivery of the goods and notify us immediately.

If Jantech Computers is warned from delivering the products because of any act of God, industrial dispute, lock-out, fire, flood, war, transport delays or any other cause beyond its control then it shall be entitled at its option to either extend the time for delivery until a reasonable period after such cause has ceased or to cancel the sale and in neither case shall the customer have any claim for loss or damage against Jantech Computers.

FREIGHT AND DELIVERY

Please be advised: We do include freight insurance with all deliveries

Customer is responsible for all freight charges. If a courier is not specified- Jantech Computers will use the courier of its choice and cost will be responsibility of the customer. It is essential that the shipping address provided to us is a physical address and not a post office box. We will also advice you leave a contact number in case we need to contact you regarding the delivery.

Freight costs are calculated depending on the weight and region in which you live in. The freight region is determine by the shipping postcode number and is calculated with the total of your order. You will be required to sign for the products as proof of delivery. Delivery time will be varying according to the method selected by you. Major cities can expect at least 2-4 working days with an additional 2 days if you are located in a more remote or rural areas.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Credit Card facilities are subject to an additional 1% processing fee. Bank Card, Master Card and Visa Card are accepted. In order to prevent fraudulent use of credit card information, we will request additional details to be confirmed, prior to the despatch of your order. We will require a legible copy of the front details of your credit card and rear as well as the cardholders drivers license faxed through with a contact telephone number (not mobile) and current address details.

Cheque or money order (In advance)
Bank cheque can be obtained at your financial institution. Money order can be purchased at your local Post Office. Cheque or money order can be sent to the address provided below:

3. Log on to your internet banking site or call your phone banking service.
4. Select the Bpay or bill payment option and follow the simple instruction.
5. Wait for and record your receipt number.

CHANGES TO TERMS

Each order is bound by the terms and conditions current when the order is placed. Jantech Computers may change these terms and conditions without notice. It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms and conditions each time you places an order.
